The Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Janabadra University, Yogyakarta, held a thanksgiving ceremony on Monday, December 20, 2024, for achieving "Very Good" accreditation from the Independent Engineering Accreditation Institute (LAM Teknik). The event, held in the multi-purpose room at Janabadra University, Yogyakarta, was attended by lecturers, teaching staff, and several engineering students.
Dr. Risdiyanto, S.T., M.T., Rector of Janabadra University, congratulated the program on this achievement and hoped it would motivate them to continue improving the quality of education. "Hopefully, this achievement will not only be a source of pride, but will also encourage us to achieve higher accreditation in the future."
In his remarks, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Joko Winarno, S.T., M.Eng., expressed his gratitude and thanks to all parties who have worked hard to achieve this. "This achievement is the result of collective hard work, from lecturers, educational staff, students, and alumni who continue to support the development of the study program," he said.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Fasyahrina Fitriastuti, S.Si., M.T., hopes that going forward, the Mechanical Engineering Study Program will motivate us to continue improving the quality of education, research, and community service. "We are optimistic that the Mechanical Engineering Study Program will continue to advance and produce competent graduates who are ready to compete in the workforce."
Achieving "Excellent" accreditation is not only a source of pride, but also a shared responsibility to continue elevating the Mechanical Engineering Study Program to higher standards.
